In Bangladesh-Four ministers and two state ministers take oath
Four full ministers and two state ministers have taken oath in the cabinet led by Prime Minister Tarique Rahman. President Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir administered their oath at Bangabhaban on Friday evening.
The four new full ministers are Abdul Moin Khan, Rashiduzzaman Millat, Saching Pru Jerry and Andaliv Rahman Partha. Among them, Rashiduzzaman Millat was a Minister of State. The two new Ministers of State are Humayun Kabir (Technocrat) and Mohammad Shamim Kaiser (Lincoln).
Mirza Fakhrul Islam took the oath of office as President at the Darbar Hall of Bangabhaban after 7:30 pm on Friday. He then administered the oath to the new ministers and state ministers.
The new minister, Abdul Moin Khan, is a member of the BNP standing committee. He is the MP from Narsingdi-2 constituency. Rashiduzzaman Millat is the BNP treasurer. He has been serving as the State Minister for the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism for a long time. He is the MP from Jamalpur-1 constituency. BNP Central Executive Committee member Saching Pru Jerry is the MP from the Bandarban Hill constituency. And Andaliv Rahman Partha, chairman of BNP’s ally Bangladesh Jatiya Party (BJP), is the MP from Bhola-1 constituency.
