” Kirill Stepanov added that the corridor and the Crimean land bridge would form a “transit territory”
connecting the Caucasus region, seaports along the north coast of the Black Sea, and industrial centers in the Russian-occupied Donetsk and Luhansk industrial zones.
It has always been said that this is the reason why Russia wants to occupy Mariupol so much. Russian forces have been shelling the city for weeks. Its civilians are the victims of the deadliest bombing in Ukraine. More than 80 percent of the city’s homes were destroyed or damaged.
