DCPIA man was stabbed in the face at a Brooklyn subway station just days after an unhinged straphanger threatened someone with a hatchet at the same stop, police said Wednesday.

The latest violent encounter happened just before 9 p.m. last Thursday at the Franklin Avenue stop in Prospect Heights, when the armed suspect — who was following a woman — tried to rush past the victim on the stairs, cops said.

When the woman ran off, the suspect allegedly confronted the victim. “You want to take the blame for this? Don’t look at me,” the man snarled before pulling a blade and stabbing the 35-year-old in the cheek, cops said.

The victim was taken to Methodist Hospital where he was treated for a puncture wound, according to cops. Police released a photo of the attacker, who remains in the wind.

Days prior, a straphanger swung a hatchet at an unsuspecting victim while on the southbound platform for the 2, 3, 4, and 5 trains at the same Prospect Heights station early on Feb. 21 — capping a weekend of a violent holiday weekend. The victim, 42-year-old Kyle Westby, told The Post he dodged the attack and ran up the stairs to flag down cops.
