Trump: I’ll build a ‘Human Wall’ at the border if necessary

Ns News Online DeskNs News Online Desk: President Trump said Tuesday that he will build “a Human Wall if necessary” at the US-Mexico border to keep illegal immigrants out of the country.“Tremendous numbers of people are coming up through Mexico in the hopes of flooding our Southern Border,” the commander-in-chief said in a tweet hours ahead of his State of the Union address.

The tweet continued: “We have sent additional military. We will build a Human Wall if necessary. If we had a real Wall, this would be a non-event!” The Pentagon announced Sunday that 3,750 more active-duty troops will be deployed to the US-Mexico border as Trump weighs whether to declare a national emergency to build a border wall.

The added troops increase the total force to about 4,350. In December, Trump partially shut down the federal government for a record-breaking 35 days over the lack of funding for his promised $5.7 billion border wall.
