In the first incident, the 12-year-old girl was walking near Saint Pauls Court and Church Avenue in the Prospect Park South neighborhood at 6:50 p.m. Saturday, when a stranger groped her behind, cops said.
The child was not physically injured in the vile incident.The sick suspect, who ran off after the attack, was last seen wearing a camouflage T-shirt and black headphones, as seen in a surveillance photo released by the NYPD.
The second incident took place at 8:50 p.m., when police said an 11-year-old girl walking in the area of Warwick Street and New Lots Avenue in East New York was confronted by a man and a woman. The man fondled the child’s breast, before he and his female companion ran away, investigators said.
Images released by the police showed the woman wearing a long green dress and glasses. The man was last seen sporting black pants, a black T-shirt and light-colored sneakers. The two assaults targeting young children happened less than five miles apart. They are being investigated by the police as separate incidents.
