US-NY Two men fatally shot on Bronx street corner, cops say

Ns News Online Desk:Ns News Online Desk: Two men were killed by gunfire in the Bronx early Sunday, as bullets continued to fly in the city, police said.

The gunshots rang out around 4 a.m. at the intersection of East 168th Street and Morris Avenue, fatally striking a 31-year-old in the head, according to cops. He was pronounced dead on the scene.

A second man suffered bullet wounds in his neck, arm and back, cops said. He was rushed to Lincoln Hospital in critical condition but later died, police said.

He was described as being in his 30s.

There were no eyewitnesses, cops said.

“Detectives have no idea what happened,” a police source said.

The 31-year-old had three prior arrests for drugs, criminal possession of a weapon and trespassing, the source said.
