Victory procession of ruling party – Bangladesh Awami League
Ns News Online Desk: On the golden jubilee of victory, the Bangladesh Awami League has organized a colorful victory procession in the capital with the firm conviction of building a non-communal democratic Bangladesh in the spirit of liberation war by thwarting all the conspiracies of the anti-independence communal fundamentalist clique.
In this huge procession on Saturday, besides the final fall of the anti-liberation evil forces in the voices of millions of people, the oath to establish a prosperous and prosperous golden Bengal free from hunger and poverty of Bangabandhu’s dream under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina was also loudly uttered. This victory procession was organized on the occasion of ‘Mujibvarsha’, the golden jubilee of independence and birth centenary of Father of the Nation of Bangladesh Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
The procession started on Saturday afternoon after a brief rally at the premises of the Institution of Engineers adjacent to the historic Suhrawardy Udyan. It ended at the historic Bangabandhu Bhaban premises in Dhanmondi. This was the biggest public outcry during the Awami League’s national conference in 2019.
Earlier, the ruling party had been holding a colorful victory procession in the capital every year on the occasion of Victory Day. However, due to Corona’s outbreak, the procession did not take place last year. For this reason, the leaders and workers and the common people have taken part in this victory procession with great enthusiasm and the image of victory.
As a result, people flocked to the victory procession. Earlier, from 12 noon onward, thousands of leaders, activists and supporters of Awami League and allied organizations from different areas including all police stations, wards and units of the capital started gathering in front of Suhrawardy Udyan in large and small processions. Besides a large number of freedom fighters and common people, a large number of leaders and activists also gathered under the leadership of MPs and people’s representatives from different areas of the capital. At one stage, besides Suhrawardy Udyan and Institution of Engineers, the surrounding areas including Matsya Bhaban, High Court, Ramna and Shahbag became public.
Leaders of Awami league said, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is working to fulfill Bangabandhu’s dream. Our oath and conviction today is to continue this trend of development. The participation of a large number of heroic freedom fighters and children of freedom fighters was eye-catching.
