Zubaida Rahman visits her mother-in-law Khaleda Zia in the hospital at her father’s house in Dhanmondi

After visiting BNP Chairperson and former Prime Minister Khaleda Zia at Evercare Hospital in the capital, Zubaida Rahman, wife of party acting chairman Tarique Rahman, reached her ancestral residence in Dhanmondi from there. She stayed at Evercare for more than two and a half hours. Zubaida Rahman later left the hospital around 2:30 pm.
Zubaida Rahman landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka on a Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight from London at around 10:15 am today. She went directly to Evercare Hospital from there to see her mother-in-law. Zubaida Rahman reached the hospital in Bashundhara area at around 11:53 am. Security was tightened in the hospital area in view of her arrival.
Mirza Fakhrul further said, “If Madam’s physical condition is suitable for the journey and the medical board decides, God willing, she will leave for London on the 7th (Sunday).”
Khaleda Zia has been undergoing treatment at Evercare Hospital in the capital for 13 days. There is concern among the people of the country about her critical physical condition. The complications that arose due to Khaleda Zia’s lung infection are improving somewhat. The complications in the heart system have also decreased somewhat. However, other problems remain largely unchanged
Khaleda Zia was taken to Evercare Hospital on the night of November 23 after she developed breathing difficulties. She was admitted after tests revealed a lung infection. When her physical condition deteriorated, she was taken from the Intermediate Intensive Care Unit (ICU) to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
